Our rate was based on the purchase of a discount card. The grounds are immaculate, and the staff is very friendly. The only thing keeping us from giving this park a 10 is the absence of recycling bins. We would stay here again.
We stayed 2 nights at this park in 2008, and it was our first choice as a stop-over for this year's trip to Oregon. This is a very nice park. No pool or hot tub, but the grounds and facilities are spotless. The sites have a great view of the surrounding hills. We will stay here again.
This is a first-class RV park. Trash and recycling are picked up at your site daily. The staff was very polite, and we were led to our site upon check-in. We are light sleepers, but the noise from the interstate did not bother us at night. Our site, 140, was about midway between the east and west borders of the park. Sites on the east side are close to the interstate. We stayed a week in the park, and will definitely be coming back in the future. For good food and great service, try Shari's (just outside of Durango) and Luigi's (one block from Durango). Asking at the desk will get you permission to wash your rig at your site, but please don't do what our neighbor did. He had obviously driven through snow and slush. When he was through washing his Class A and toad, there were many pounds of road dirt left on the new concrete site pad, which he did not bother to rinse off. When he left the next morning, I hosed off the pad. Being able to wash your rig at your site is rare, and actions like his could spoil it for more considerate RV'ers.
This is one of the finest RV parks we've stayed in. We were in this park for a week. All of the sites are concrete, and most sites are long enough to remain hitched. The concrete pad of each site is expanded to be a nice patio area. The pool, while not large, was nice and clean. The entire park is immaculate. It was very hot that week, and the voltage stayed at 116 even with all of the A/C's running. The Evergreen Air and Space Museum, home of the Spruce Goose, is close by. We will be staying at this park again someday.
This is a fairly new park, with excellent facilities. Close to I-5, but far enough that you don't hear the traffic. The restrooms and showers were spotless and nicely decorated. Our pull-thru site was long enough to remain hitched. My only complaint, and this is minor, is that the park was created on a gentle slope, and all of the sites followed the same slope. They should have levelled the sites.
This is a first-class park with excellent facilities. All of the staff members, including those in the on-site restaurant, were very pleasant to deal with. The restrooms and grounds were modern and spotless. We were there 2 nights, and will definitely stay there again.
We spent 2 nights at this park, and feel that it is a very nice park for the price. The site was clean, the pool was heated, and the hot tub was great. Very friendly staff.
Our site was in the North Beach section, with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The site itself was OK, no complaints. The restrooms were filthy, and looked like they had not been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. Many of the shower + toilet stalls have been vandalized (broken hinges, loose knobs, bent metal walls), and they look like no repairs had been attempted. There were some very shady-looking men around the full-time junker campers, but I didn't feel unsafe while my wife and walked around the camp. This park is in a wonderful setting, and at one time the facilities were probably nice, but a camp that does not repair broken restrooms is not somewhere we will stay at again.
